whats up

new here. i previously owned a 00 civic si. sold it to my sister and am now buying a 1990 240sx coupe, should be getting it in a few days or so. i dont like euros and big crazy ugly body kits , and was wondering if you guys could answer some questions i had about the sr20det swap. a guy i know with a fastback told me to get a s15 motor and s14 tranny? should i? or should i get something else? just wondering, probably the first question i need answered. nice forums by the way, i will be sticking around

Tell that guy he's stupid. There's no reason to do that. It all just depends on what you want and how much cash you have. S13's have a slight advantage for the most potential. While S14's and S15's are made for midly better casual street driving. If you were choosing between a S14 and a S15. I say just get what you can afford and leave the S13's for me.

yea, i dont like crazy body kits and euros either.. i like to keep things simple and CLEAN. and the motor thing, i've been talking with Night on this board about the rb25det swap. it sounds good, i'm just trying to keep my options open , thanks for the welcome guys.


oh, and the reason i sold my si to my sister was because i wanted a rwd car. i had a fastback also, i like the feel of rwd i guess. the si was nice, i love it, but i know my sister will care for her right. and i guess i got tired of the si? i dont know, there's still payments left on the car and my sister is gonna finish the rest. she gave me 6k and took over payments. i think it was a pretty good deal.
