Talking Whats up everyone! New to the site

Hey there everybody! First of all lemme say that I appreciate having a site like club240 to join. I just got my first 240 in February. I used to own hondas mostly. Yea I've been hearing about a good amount of people going from honda to 240. Heh. I've wanted a 240 for a long time now, and I finally got one this year! And I must say that they are really impressive cars. I like rwd way better now. hahahah. I have a 89 240 fastback. I've been tryin to set up my s13 with the mods that BigVinnie's thread had in it. Well that's all I can think to write up for now. Thanks everybody! I'm lookin forward to getting info and talking with you!

Yea, a honda was the first car I've modded. To be honest, I'm more into my 240 more than any of my of my hondas. I've done way more research for my 240 than I've ever done for all the hondas I've owned. Lol. But hey, can't complain one bit. I have read that people with hondas are a-holes, and that nissan enthusiasts are way more friendly to each other. I've experienced this first-hand. Nissan guys are really nice while the honda guys tend to stare you down. Haha, I find it funny cuz the where I live a lot of the people here are all show and no go. So since my 240 has a little bit of show, they'll assume that I too suffer the "all show no go" symptom that the wannabe tuners here suffer. Lol. Little will they know that theres mods being added at the very least once a month to my 240. Can't wait to go against one of them.

Are you asking if you should get an s2k or an s14 for a daily? It depends on your preferences man, the s2k has absolutely no luggage space (or space for anything really) and it's very loud inside the car. The engine noise is loud along with road and wind noise, there are squeaks and rattles from the softtop/hardtop, and the softtop will eventually get on your nerves(just get a hardtop). Which is exactly why I love it, if you can hear the radio, it isn't loud enough. I daily'd the s2000 for a year and a half and loved every minute of it, looks like im going to have to daily it this summer since the s12 is gonna be out of commission. An s14 would be really nice though, feels good, comfortable, has a permanent roof, quiet(stock anyway), and seats 5 with a lot of space. Don't ask, go test drive! See what you like

I'm not saying that I don't like hondas. If I could get a hold of another honda for a decent price, I'd prolly buy it depending on what it is. I just can't wait for the punk kids in my town that think that their hondas are so cool, and that they can drive. I live in a very small town so lots of people here just spill the beans on what their buddy with a honda has under their hoods. Sorry if you guys got the wrong idea about the honda comment I made. Just talkin bout the ones here.

Oh, don't misunderstand. I wasn't talking about your comment about hondas, I was talking about your comment of "going against them" because that implies street racing which is an image we all stray from.

Umm... Yarou... the S14 seats 4... you can squeeze in 3 (including me) in my S14...

I like my S14 as a daily, no problems there, definitly more room vs s2k. My cousin owns a 2004 s2k. He got it for 22K already had a Comptech super charger dropped in. Previous owner had to sell cuz hiw wifey wasnt gonna have a roadster as a family car...

I'm lookin between a 350Z and an s2k... not sure which one to go for next if I dont get the new Audi RS5. Twin turbo V8 pushing 450 hp from the factory FTW!... if I can afford it...
