Red face WTF is a Troll?!

So anyway, im an old skool fool. i got 6 RWD Celicas, 74-78. I says to myself" i gotta get a more comfy car to go around in." So whats the best modern RWD?-right! so my wifes had a 94 Altima for a few years now and i figure its been a great ride so now ive got this 95 s14, black leather, 5spd,etc...Its paint is stripped of too, which is good for me, i got a few custom colors im gonna try. Best part is i only paid $2K for it. So i need a little help. I know squat about turbos, anyone know some good tutorials? Im also pretty ruf on EFI- we still use carbs on the old Celicas! Oh and please tell me all the electronics crap isnt as complicated as it seems. I think im gonna stay n/a though-stick with what ya know! gonna go with some hi-comp pistons, cams,-how much can these things be bored out? Anyhoo, enough hot air for now. Thanks!

Don't hate it. I miss it. I lived there for 20 years, around the Bay Area. Id love to go back and visit but i dont think id want to move back. not after seeing what its like to have absolutly no restrictions on what you can do to your car!

welcome to the boards. mmmm, early model Celicas (back when they were cool and RWD)... good stuff, man. good stuff.

as for the turbo and electronics stuff, while i don't know a whole hell of a lot about it, i don't think it would be too difficult to grasp (especially if ur mechanically inclined). ur not gonna be spending time w/a laptop plugged into ur car hacking the system, if that's what ur thinking. a good place to look would be our turbo section. a good bit of knowledge in there for anyone from novices (like me ) to crusty turbo master mechanics (not like me ). again, welcome.

I've been accused of trolling, but in reality I am just light years ahead of the rest of the world.

Trolling is entering a forum and just posting nonsense. A lot of off topic stuff is considered by some as trolling. ...like trolling to just stir things up and get people flaming.

like...."SR20DETs SUCK!"

"Trolling SUCKS!"

j/k LOL I didn't know the meaning until I read it ahaha....

welcome

Dude old school Celica's were nice... what model was it that looked like an old Mustang... I think it was the 72 Celicas? A buddy back in high school had a really nice one that his dad tuned up and handed down to him... so clean, ran good, and for a car that age I was surprised at the time how good it looked, design-wise
