Untill just resntly i have been driving a 94 nissan sentra aka a peice of ****. After looking around for awhile i just happened to find a 97 240sx se for only 3300!!! I got it from a private seller the old couple doesnt know it but they just got robbed. Anyways ive been driving this bad *** for about 3weeks now. All ive done so far is install a sound system and an intake. I will do a few more smaller upgrades not going to do anything big to the ka cuz im saving up for an sr swap. Anyways let me know wut you think and if you got any good mechanical advice dont hesitate to share it.

Damn, and I thought I got a good deal. I got mine from a 76 yr. old woman (original owner) with only 86k miles for 4,500. I actually traded my wife's P.O.S. Ford Focus ZX3 for it and got a thousand in cash.

How many miles does it have? Probably not much. It was probably to church and back kinda car.

Why are you so quick to want an SR20?

 

Yeah, do a little research before you just throw in an SR20. You may decide for what you want to do, the KA may be better suited for you.

What's the interior like?

 

to answer all the questions: its actually got kinda high milage 120k and its auto which i was kinda mad about but i had to jump on it cuz every other 97/98 i looked at was 8000+ Yea and ya'll are probably right about jumping into the sr thing i will do more research be4 any purchase is made. Idk if i was leading you to believe a swap would happen soon but its definately far down the road cuz i dont make very much money. The interior is very clean i will try to post some pics 4 you within the next couple of days. thanks for the comments and advice and if you could post some pics of your rides.

 

120k is nothing...if it was maintained it will last alot longer. I say just do a manual transmission swap and drive it like that for awhile before you decide to swap or anything.

 

It's a steal, nonetheless! FYI, I'd look into doing the tranny swap and maybe some suspension upgrades before you decide on drivetrain upgrades. Do some searching around this and other 240 forums regarding best suspension setups, etc.
You can even find tutorials on your swaps and upgrades.
