No longer testing waters - car is for sale now.
This car is plenty damn quick. I'm in the midst of making it autocross ready, it just needs suspension and tires. It does NOT have an inspection. It does have a Virginia title though which means you can buy / sell it as you please legally. It does have Illinois plates too, which is what has been getting me out of trouble. Cops can't do anything if it's licensed in another state. The reason it won't pass inspection is because 1, there is absolutely no catalytic convertor. And two, PAIR emmissions stuff has been taken out. The exhaust is custom 3" straight through with 2 turbo packs. It has a damn good low tone sound, not the buzzing ricer bumble bee sound that is f*cking annoying as hell. Wish I could make a video or sound clip, but you'll just have to hear it in person.
The interior was done by the previous owner. Nismo steering wheel, momo shifter, tinted windows, and other obvious things. The interior is also completely stripped from the front seats back. Nothing is left, I mean nothing. All the carpeting, metal brackets, spare, jack, etc... was all taken out for weight. It was then painted over with sound deadner. Also taken out was A/C and ALL of it's components. Partly for gaining a few HPand because of its weight. It has power windows and a moonroof, so no need for AC anyway. All you need is heat to keep warm during the winter, and it has a brand spankin' new heater core and it blows hotter than hell.
The motor was just put in by me. It's from reputable 240sx shop in Baltimore, Maryland and had just under 70k miles when it was taken out for an RB(from a 97' 240sx). Some consider the KA24DE still breaking in at that point. It also came with an auto tranny as well. If you want their number to verify the mileage, ask me and I'll send it to you. I'll have to find it. I took time and care when putting this thing in. Took me a good 2 months of my free time to get it done and right. Since then I've only put 500 miles on it, just breaking the clutch in. I ordered some extra goodies for the motor as well - DC Sports Ceramic 4-2-1 header, Spec 2+ clutch kit, Fidanza Flywheel, Injen intake, NGK Plug wires (damn $90 alone), NGK Iridium Plugs and I used the more agressive cams from my old motor and installed them on this one. I also re-located the battery to behind the passenger seat (safely) since these pictures. The body has 2 dents, one on the front right fender and one on the rear left.
This car was made for responsiveness, and it is ready for autocross other than needing the suspension and tire setup as I said. Reason I'm thinking about selling this is because of my financial situation, and autocross is going to be one hellava expensive hobby for me. Obviously, there is no oil leaks... and only the best oil is being used (high RPM synthetic) and always the best gas. It does have liquids that come out of tubing under neath the car where the emmissions were, but that is normal, it use to go through and out the exhaust. Car is located in Richmond, VA. Since this is only testing waters, e-mail me if you have an interest or any questions: rydell_hall@yahoo.com.
Alright, enough talk, here she is.

Yes, it's 5 speed. Notice one of the mods is a Spec 2+ clutch? :-) No, sorry, I will not let it go a cent cheaper. Maybe get a shell 240 and build it up yourself? It would be a little cheaper for sure, as long as you do the work yourself.
