1987 AE86 Corolla GTS-Twin Cam
Ok here it goes guys, Im going to put this up here before it goes on ebay.
1987 Toyota Corolla GTS-Twin Cam (AE86)
It is a coupe (lighter and stiffer!)
232,XXX On the chassis and motor
The car runs really strong!
Manual everything, no power windows, locks, mirrors ect. It does have a sun roof.
Starts right up and idles at about 1000 rpms for a minute until it warms up and then idles great at 800 rpms. Very quiet, you can barely tell its running while at idle with the exception of the clutch fan.
Heres the story: An older lady has been driving the car for the last 17 years, she sold it to one of her co-workers (an older gentleman who bought it for his son). Well his son didnt want the car because it is a 5-speed so he put it up for sale. I bought the car with intentions of turning it into a track car, but I dont have the funds right now. It would be a great daily for someone if they dont want to modify it right now. This cars runs great and has not been beaten on.
EXTERIOR: Has a few dents and the paint is faded on the top of the car. The frame is straight though and has not been in any accidents to my knowledge. There is tint on the car that is old and starting to peel.
INTERIOR: Small tear on the seat and the front driver side carpet is stained. The car will come with floormats though. The dash is clean except two cracks above the gauge cluster. The backseats are very clean and the windows are free of cracks.
MECHANICALLY: The car runs great for its year and mileage. It feels like a new clutch was recently installed because it catches extremely fast and doesnt slip at all. It does have a/c but is not working right now, I havent taken it to a shop because I was planning on taking the a/c out anyways. The heater works and the headlights and headlight motors work. The car is as stock as it gets, no modifications whatsoever with the exception of a cd player and a tow hitch (you know for all that torque lol). The cd player that is installed does not work because the face was lost, I do have a replacement cd player though that will be included, as well as a New Factory Service Manual.
I really hate to see this car go, but I'm just not in a good position to have another project car at the moment.

see brian i been trying to find this car forever and now ya have one but its to late well if its never sold and thats a big if i guess ill try and take it off your hands......ill keep tabs on it..
