1991 240sx LE [Feeler, *cry*]
Okay, so I think I'll have to get rid of my 240. I love it to death, but I don't have the time or money to finish the rebuild. Okay so here's the details.
Last year, the timing chain tensioner went out, causing it to eat through the front timing cover, and jumping time. I bought a 95 motor, removed all the emissions stuff, and used the S13 intake manifold. The motor turned out to have low compression so I couldn't use it.
>> Had the head professionally rebuilt from my old motor (still have the receipt).
>> Had crank resurfaced
>> Bought new main and rod bearings
>> New gaskets
>> Pretty much a complete rebuild kit, minus the timing chain.
>> New DC Sports Header
>> Used AEM SRI
>> B&M short shifter
>> New Clutch
>> Tein S-Tech Springs
>> Altima fans, need to be mounted.
Theres also more stuff, but I'm not going into huge detail.
So here's the overview. Lots of new parts, 2 motors, needs a driver's fender (thanks mom! *ugh*), and the interior needs to be put back together. Everything's there, but I was in the middle of putting deadener on the doors and trunk when the car crapped. I can get pics sometime soon.
If I could get $1000 for it I would be absolutely ecstatic. OBO of course. Its in Louisiana BTW (No flood or rust)

I really would like to have a nice 240... Unfortunately, I don't have the kind of time or experience needed to build my motor on my own... My dad would help, being he is VERY familiar with the nissan 4 bangers (he had many a datsun truck!)... but he's a busy man. I may end up keeping it. The only reason I wanna get rid of it is because I need a car YESTERDAY... and make too little to buy a half decent car. Ive gotten my hours cut drastically at work, and make about $100 a week now. Weaksauce. Its not out of the question to keep the car, but if I sell it, there won't be any temptation to dump even more cash into it. I havent had my own car since july 2nd of LAST YEAR! Yeah... it sucks.

Yeah, but slowly parts are starting to 'disappear' now that I have another 240. Actually, the only parts not on the fastback are the coolant overflow tank (if you want, Ill give you the one off my vert.) and the B&M shifter which was sold to help pay for the vert.
