89 240 hatch fs
Hello everyone,
I bought this car a while ago, in thoughts of making a cool project car out of it, but with the economy in the toilet, im going to have to let my project dream go. Right now it just sits in storage, and I dont have the extra cash to rebuild it the way I want to, and I dont want to start something and half **** it.
Its a 89 se hatchback. It had a widebody kit on the rear from the previous owner, where he thought itd be necessary to remove it, so there are holes from rivets (its been garage kept so you dont have to worry about that)
its a gunmetal color with sunroof, the motor is out of a 93 (so its a ka24de) that was hit in the rear and totaled, milage on the car was only 38374, so it is a good motor, its timing is off so it idles rough, but starts. Looks like most of the important parts are there, MAS, wiring, fans, etc etc. it does look like the alternator will be in need of replacement as it doesnt appear to be charging the battery. Also the gauges need to be connected.
The whole rear end was rebuilt, with new diff (open) and new rear brakes. It still has the two piece driveshaft but it is manual transmission for those of you interested. the body itself has over 200000, the factory rear bumper is gone, but there is a fiberglass drift replica that will go with it for whoever buys it, ntm the whole interior is still intact. so like I said its a good project car for someone, but it does start and drive, the tires are shot, but it wouldnt take too much to drive around, i dont believe. I figured id be up front with everyone, so they dont expect a dream car, but then the price will reflect this. So if you want it, pm me and we will work something out, bring a trailer, and take it away. Ill miss it, but like I said, I just dont have the money for it.
