Hi Everyone,
A guy at work sent me some pictures of his 89 auto SE with a busted stock motor. It's been sitting in his backyard for 4 years and he claims the interior is "perfect". I didn't see any damage on the exterior besides some ghetto hubcaps.

He want's $1000 for it, but i'm thinking about $600 because it doesn't run.

Buddy that is way to high for an 89 auto let alone the engine doesn't run. Plus if it has been sitting for 4 yars it may have rust in the strut towers. I got a 90 240sx auto that is in fairly good shape and I only paid 1000 from a nice lady. Just keep searching

 

yeah, that's too much for an 89'. I saw an 93' coupe base model with no rust for $500 with maybe a bad fuel pump and I could have fixed it on the spot and drove it home. Too bad I passed it up, now every time I think about it I cry a little...

 

yeah, no way I'd pay 1,000 for it, way to much,I bought my 89 auto for 550 the engine has a bent valve but it does run, and the car doesn't even have 70,000 miles on it, so I figured 550 was an ok price, but 1 grand really is alot to pay for it

 

Thanks for the replies guys. I ran the VIN and it's a 1990 instead of 89, I guess he's not even sure what he has.

Registration hasn't been paid for 4 years and the amount due is $400, and he still owes $400 to the bank. I'm gonna take a look at it in the morning and check for rust and stuff.
