hi hows it goin guys , im new here but ive been looking into 240s lately and was wondering if it was possible to make a trade for a s13 or s14 with an SR20det in it and an LSD.

Just out of curiousity how much mileage, where you located, and how much rust is on the car?

 

No Rust at all in the car very clean , paint is fading but there is no rust ........milage is kinda high 300k on the chasis but the motor was rebuilt sometime before i got the car, the car is my daily driver so its very realiable ...........

 

oh yea im located in SoCal , westminster to be exact

 

unfortunately I'm about as far away as you can get... MA in New England, otherwise I'd defintely think about it...

Basically, you're just not going to get a trade for a 240sx with an sr20det. Or $5500. You're car has 300k miles on the body. Maybe you should reconsider asking for an sr20det'd 240sx.

Don't know why my post was messed with I was trying to help the person out. Good luck finding a trade but you might be beter off selling the car then getting a 240 and doing the work you want.

You also have some nice parts on the car that may be worth more parted out, then sell the chasis/trade it in for a 240. But ytou never know this my be someones dream car that they scoop up for the asking price I know AE86's are going for a premium in Cali.

 

Yea maybe your right about me reconsidering about asking for a 240 with an SR in it but i know theres gotta be people who want a Corolla , yea its 20 years old and i know most dont think its worth that much , but this cars in good shape in all aspects. thats why i didnt want to put a price on it because i know i would get flamed ............anyhow i just thought it could be a possability , im just gonna have to save up to buy a 240 sooner or later...........

 

you could always sell it cheaper, or find someone to trade it for an s13 in good condition and go from there...
