Additional information. All work was done by me at home. I took tons of pictures and made posts. My username is bumnah. I'm on Club240, FA and NICO. Feel free to search my name for posts regarding the car.
I took great care in putting this motor in and I took my time. I plan to keep the car if no one gives me the $ I'd like to receiver for putting it together. When I replaced bolts and nuts I cleaned them before reassembly so they would thread on nice and clean. I cleaned the inside the bell housing for an hour to remove as much crud as possible. I didn't rush the install, and I didn't cut corners. I bought name brand quality parts to get as oem as possible of an install.
How the car runs. Perfect. The car vibrates as expected with the stiff motor/tranny mounts. She fires up nice and smooth everytime. Fully spooled by 2400 rpms. Pulls solid to the redline. I have put 650 miles on the motor since I got her running. No issues what so ever. All hard pulls made after 500 miles of city driving. To allow the clutch to break in.
3 problems I have found but don't plan to address:
5th gear grind (common stuff on these motor swaps). If you do it slowly no grind, pulls fine. Syncro is worn out. From a motor from japan if this is the worst it gets I'm happy with it.
B&M short shifter makes a noise. Again common stuff. It's minor to me since the whole car vibrates from the motor swap. None of these will hurt the car or ruin the fun in driving the car. Perhaps this is version 01. But I've heard version 02 doesn't make the noise. I dunno. Every RWD car that i've driven with a short throw shifter in the transmission made this noise.
Reverse lights do not work. Only sensor plugged in is the speedo. None of the transmission plugs other than that are plugged in. I did that to bypass the speed limiter. You can plug it in and make it work.
Asking price $8000.

email me if you are interested. I may go down a little on my price, but not much. Again I'm in no rush to sell nor do I care if it does. I plan to move forward with my 300zx brake swap as soon as I have the $. I will expect more for the car once that is done.
Thanks for looking.
