97 KA24 motor set

As far as I know it has all 92k miles on it that the car has. Motor and trans are in excellent shape. THe clutch feels like an aftermarket that grabs hard but the throw out chatters and the car shudders when trying to engage slowly. Probably they didn't re-surface the flywheel when they put it on. Motor is smooth and doesn't smoke at all. I already have a solid offer locally for 750.00 but won't have the motor out until probably the end of August, but I will update this thread as needed. If anyone is local to SE PA that is interested in offering more, let me know. The ECU, uncut harness, etc. will also be going with it ofcourse.

Thats not a bad offer but I have the whole thing sold for 750.00, so I would rather opt. for that route. If you came up to 650.00 for the motor and ecu we may have something there.

Just to give everyone an idea of the shape of the motor, my 97 is stock and it ran 15.91@86. Also ran several 86 mph passes over the course of the night. Is that about average for a stock 97? I'm sure with a better 60' it would have done better, but I'm looking at the mph. It was very humid and 80+ deg. that evening.
