I dont know about the apexi styles I asked a friend about the replica N1s and he said they sound more tinny than a russian battleship, not what im looking for in a muffler, but please enlighten me if anybody has heard one on a 240 and it sounded good, the price for the ebay replica N1s is right for me

Other than the piping diameter what is the biggest difference between the n1 and gt spec. I notice that the gt is cheaper at almost every online catalog that I've looked at. Is the n1 betteror the gt. On apexi web site they say the gt spec is their flagship. I'm just wondering why it is cheaper.

I have the N1 single on my car and let me tell you it is super quiet and deep expecially after I've owned a focus with a streight pipe off the headers... ...LOUD talk about pissed off bees!!!!! To me it sounds good and deep, I don't believe in being cheap when it comes to aftermarket parts. I got the N1 single because it will be the best when I slap on a T04 turbo from XS engineering.

Does anyone know of a good REPUTABLE place to get an N1 Dual? I'm just not ready to part with $700 for the list price and Ebay didn't come through (for once).

i had the N1 ...but...it had 3" custom piping...mine sounded pretty damn good...not as deep as the cat back N1 but it had more of a wrx sound to it....Now i have a GT...the GT is freaking loud...but i love it....its imo its deeper than the N1...
it felt like i got ..wel i had a noticable amount of torque loss from the 3" N1 to the GT...
the silencer made a big improvement on the N1 when it came to torque. The silencer on the GT duzn't seem to really make a difference.
i think the GT is cheaper cuz its less popular than the N1

the amount of bends is the same as the N1....2 45degree bends
i also heard/read that the N1 gives more power on the SR20's
but the biggest diffence besides the piping size is the metal
the GT is stainless steal, while the N1 is "thermal coated"....watever...its just paint on there so the pipint duzn't rust on you....thats what i think....

i originally bought the GT b/c i had plans to put a rb25 in, but plans didn't work out, and i ended up getting a sr20....man...its been freaking 7 weeks since i've seen my car....
turbo evo man....they're doing a good job. but...i wish they would kick it up a notch....

hopefully i meet up w/ the 909 people soon
oh....btw i have 2 N1 3" for sale if anyone wants it....one is the universal, and the other is a catbacksystem for an evo, but the axleback piping was cut, so basically you get a perfect midpipe and the N1....the midpipe has 2 bad *** SS resonators, not glasspacked....
BOTH exhausts were bought directly from APEXi and brand new...the evo was cut, b/c it was from the R&D department
maybe you guys can make dual N1's w/ 2 turbo ver. N1's jm that will look weird

Hey I've been reading this forum for a while, just signed up. Can someone tell me if the dual or single N1's are legal in California? The rules are pretty damn strict here, just asking around, and oh are the short rams gunna pass through pooooolice inspection?

Have ne of yall heard the GT Spec Exhuast? I've seen pictures of it and it looks nice. But I haven't heard it. I'm really more toward HP Gains instead of Sound..It's a Nissan, It aint gonna have tha Civic "Fart". But the thing I was thinkin about is, my car is lowered and its already hard to get over speed bumps and stuff. And isn't the GT Spep tip bigger then the N1? So that means it would be even harder. I'm leanin back and forth for the N1 and GT. But, Which one sounds better? Just wonderin
