Question good site to get OEM 240sx parts

anyone know a good reputable site on 240sx OEM parts? im trying to buy my friends s13 but couple of years ago he installed pacesetter headers , now it wont pass the visual smog test and cant transfer ownership

id suggest checkin the used boards everyday, i would never spend that kinda money on some oem headers.

i could do that but the thing is, time is what i dont have. he's giving me until this coming monday to make it pass, otherwise he'll just donate it for a tax cut he's selling me the car for $1k. good shape too, not salvaged or anything.

Try a junk yard you might find something there. There are also other 240 forums to join and search for parts.

i searched after i posted and i found multiple threads on complete part outs, i dont understand what the problem is i think, y dont u just buy the car from him? and then put the parts on, wheres the time limit coming from?

I agree motegineon and I don't see why the threadstarter really needed to post this.

However flipsideS13 your gonna have to get the car registered anyways. You might as well buy the car now and worry about the headers and smoging once the car is yours.

ok sorry about that guys, personally this is my first used car. from what i understand, i tought the seller has to get it to pass smog to transfer ownership to me. anyway i went ahead and bought the car today. actually technically i havent, its just sitting in my garage, my friend said not to pay him until its running or what not. however new problems.... check this thread http://www.club240.com/forums/showth...threadid=28873

Here a national network of junkers. You should be able to find just about anything on here, used of course, but even allows you narrow search to your area or state.
