koyo radiator

how is the koyo radiator, and can you use the stock mechanican fan?

The Koyo is a very nice unit. A steal for the price it goes for. And yes, everything is stock regarding the fittment.

I think you can, but it is thicker and I don't know if that would cause interference with the stock fan shroud. I use an elecric with mine.

Just get a Howe chevy 29-19-3 Radiator they are cheap as hell and run with a sr just fine.

my friend tells me that every one he knows thats got a koyo has seen temperatures rise, and if you have an s13 just get an s14 radiator.. its pritty much stock fitimits except you should probably get the s14 radiator mounts.. or if you have *****(or maybe in this case stupidity) you can do it drifter style and ziptie it.. but it works, and t he s14 radiator is thicker so you will see it cool better, i know, because i have an s14 radiator in my 91 coupe.. and when i turn on the heater i see a noticable drop in temurature.. and the car takes longer to warm up.. i did the installation my self.. and it kicked my ***.. so have some friends, or do it on your day off if you havent done something like this befor
