Hahaha we're all in the "should I RS*R exhaust it or not" thing lately...

...never seen any hard facts on Monza ex though... aren't they related to Pacesetter or something?

On the quality vote alone, I'd choose RS*R... but that $200 extra is a big difference

EDIT: Okay I checked out the Pacesetter site, and man... I don't know if it's just because the pipes are painted black, but the catback piping looks kind of thin for being 2.5"

Cheddar, double-think the RS*R now... Hyjynx heard one IRL and he said it was pretty loud for a NA because of the piping size... I'm also reconsidering getting the RS*R for now (gonna get EDFC instead) until I come up with a feasable way to keep the RS*R quiet.

It'll probably pass visual, but it might draw attention once you step on the gas

Personally I've been looking at the RSR exhaust mainly because I'm sick of getting hassled by cops... I used to have a Greddy SP, HKS Drager, Apex-i World Sport - all shiny, all cop attracting equipment.

I think Orido and co. brought RSR back into the mainstream with the drift trend, but RSR has been here ... I remember they had some falling out with their former importers (forgot who... had to do with RX-7's or something) so they ended up setting up a U.S. arm here.

i actaully stumbled upon the RSR like a few months back, there selling point being that its visual is to look stock, and i really dont want a exhuast thats really eye catching, cause i live in LA, so thats already reason enough, and the fact they say its pretty quiet, well as queit as a muffler can be...hmm but Hyjynx claims thats its pretty dam loud...and i trust his opinions...hmm....NUTs...well i guess its more time to search and rethink things...but i guess the good part the longer i take to get a exhuast the more money i save up...so me'h...so your not getting a RSR anymore l2aine?

We're exactly in the same situation man... and yeah - I decided for now to pass on the RSR until I can see and hear it in person on someone else's S14...

ummm...i hope he didn't base that on my rsr exhaust because the only reason it was loud is because i had a gnarly exhaust leak around the cat....got that fixed and you couldn't hardly tell it was after market......dropped in the sr20 and now i can't tell if my engine's on...too quiet i'd say

My buddy has the RSR on a KA24de and it is quiet, but I drove it and I felt a little less power on the low end compared to the stock exhaust. Thats why I went with the HKS. I've had for two weeks now and I love it.

I have a monza/pacesetter (and yes they are identical exept for paint, they are made in the same factory, if you order them out of the actuall catalog I think they even have almost identical part numbers too) exhaust sittin in my shop next to my RB'ed S13. the quality actually isnt bad on the piping and the flanges itself, its the muffler that sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad it terifies satan himself. I think if I use it on my car I will chop off the horrible muffler (kinda sounded like the worlds biggest fart coming out of a wet metal arshole) but the hangers and bolt holes line up better than alot of the other systems out there *cough* tanabe apex *cough* I would sell that if you are really in need of a cheap exhaust system.
