I'm bacckk...

Alrighty... here's where help is needed...
The car... well.. it has recently needed SO much done to it, everything is basiclly shot.. I need new tie rods..n everything that goes along with that (tires, boot, etc..) ... and that's not the issue...
the issue is my freaking stock muffler... that too is shot to all hell and I truely don't have the money right now to buy a good cat-back (I'll deal with that at another time) I just want a freaking thing to put on there... and if it wasn't illegal to drive without one, I wouldn't be worried. I knew I needed help in searching when one of my GUY friends suggested this

boy is he pretty lost if he honestly thinks I'm gonna use that...
but anyway... the mech. knows its a rare car and u need the same exact muffler to stick on there and he thinks he's gonna get away with over-charging me like 300 includidng labor... freaking idiot.... but I'm not much better cause I don't know where to start. No $$ right now... just need something basic... $$ will come in a few monthes to fix the car the way I want. Help. Thanks

 

Can't really tell what your question is, but if it's what mufler you shoudl choose...go with a megan racing one. They are pretty good. If not, then go to a junk yard and get a 240 exhaust system.

 

if money is tight. go to your local junk yard or pick a part. Get a muffler and find a muffler shop that can weld it on for like $20.

btw, you might also want to check the piping. when I got my 240 I noticed an exhaust leak which made my car really loud.

I think the Megan Raing DF muffler is gonna do... 115 is better than what I was going to be charged... I just hate dealing with things online.. (got scammed on Ebay.. WITH a garuntee and WITH a credit card-amazingly enough.) its all gravy.. thanks again!

 

I got scammed on E-bay also!! I was waiting so patiently....and my cd never came...but my credit card bill came and they sure did take that money out in a hurry. Damn you PayPal!!!

Anyways, back to the muffler thing. Let me know how the Megan Muffler sound level wise....is it too loud?
