opinions on the Blitz NUR Spec

im still trying to decide what exhaust to buy, my requirements are as follows...

-good performance increase for N/A KA24DE
-not annoyingly loud
-not ricey
-reasonable price

I've seen/heard the NUR Spec on an SR20DET motor, but they say it sounds different on N/A applications...

I'm also considering the N1 Duals, but they are 1.75 times the price (or so)...

i just want your opinions to further help my decision, any other recommendations are welcome...

Thanks,

Dave

The blitz will eat up ur torque like its nothing haha. Blitz nur spec exahust would be best on a turboed car. NUR spec is hella loud just lettin u know, well on turboed cars thats is. For quietness i think the Dual N1 is the way to go.

thanks...i think the best bang for the buck is to pick up my friends custom 2.25" straight piping to an OBX B3 muff...hes sellin it for $175...

well...my friends exhaust wasnt quite what i wanted...so im stuck lookin again...

now hyjinx, are you talking about the axle-back NUR Spec or the cat-back R version?

cuz im lookin to get the axle-back...

i really dont wanna spend over 500 for just exhaust...

-HyJynX- 09-29-2003 07:51 PM

Im talking bout the full cat-back exahust. cost me..530 bucks but well worth it i think:p

95_240SXSE 09-29-2003 08:38 PM

yea...so im guessin the axle-back wouldnt be as loud, and also would not lose as much low-end..i think thats what imma go with, unless evil98 can get me a super deal on duals...

Well it will still be 3" piping..So u will still be losing sum low end and torque

drnovascotia 09-30-2003 12:13 PM

you want 2.5" piping, 3" will lose power, not good.

Go buy a performance muffler and have a shop make a cat-back exhaust out of it , I did that for $250, and it's great. Cheap and in my opinion better than the N1 everyone and their mother owns.
