Phantom Grip
I was looking on nopionline.com and saw that they had a limited slip conversion kit that they call the Phantom grip. I was wondering if anyone has tried it or if they think it would be worth about $300.
thanks for any comments!

I have a phantom grip in my 240 with no problems. I ran a 1.9s 60 ft with it and my diff didn't blow up. That was on 10psi with a T25.By its very nature it does grind on the differential gears to get a lsd affect. You have to have some knowledge about differentials to install it correctly. As long as the differential is in good condition to begin with there shouldn't be a problem.

On a RWD you make a turn and the inner tire has to turn less than the outside, but the phantom grip locks it together, therefore it destroys you differential. I have had the phantomgrip LSD (bold) conversion(/bold) on my Acura Integra (FWD honda) for almost a year now, and have yet to have a issue.

...and yeah, most of the bad stories or experiences I've heard about Phantomgrip coincidentally happens to be mostly RWD.
