Post rb25det

Hey i was just wondering, how easy is it to have a rb25det motor in a 96(early) 240? What parts and mods would i need? How would i go buy doing it? I heard it's easier than rb26dett. This guys said he could sell me an engine for 3000 and that i wouldn't need a tranny, just and ecu. I think he's full of ****. I would like that front clip but i know it's a pain in the *** to get everything put in.

go with the front clip..its even harder to get all the parts ya need for a RB. It will save u many headaches to wait for a RB25 front clip. As for the installing of it..from wut ive heard its pretty straight forward..You will need a custom driveshaft..and if wanted new mounts. I belive the OEM 240 mounts will work but with sum problems..the sway bar will be in the way and the hood might not close right. So its better to go with custom mounts. Other then that there are minimal mods..the wiring is the biggest.

re:

hey, santi, what's up. Hey i moved out of my parents house. I haven't been to club240 for a while. What's up? Thanx for the info. I was wondering would it be easier to rebuild and turbo my ka24de, rather than getting a rb25det. Hey, how is your rb20 coming along? Did you find an s13?
