Remus Exhaust

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how the Remus exhaust did on the SR's here. I know Remus has a good reputation for German cars. They're top of the line from what I know. I checked their site and they have some sweet exaust sounds. Anyways... I saw on thier site that they make exausts for MA70s, Z32s, and 240s with Sr20's in them. Anyone know if they make a big difference and if they can be fitted on the KA because I've seen a pignose have a Cebring exaust, a company related to Remus and it sounded sweet and pulled quite a bit, and that's on the SOHC engine. Lemme know, thanks!

Both the SR and KA share the same exhaust, so you can swap em

Anyone know the performance gains? I've searched in the forums and all I got were this threadand a reply saying a guy was selling his Remus exhaust, which didn't help. Might think of getting one for later.

Is the remus a full cat back exhaust? I would say go with a RS-R exmag gt2 or the tanabe. Those both have a pretty straight flow. The tanabe straighter then the RS-R. I personally have the rs-r and its great. down side is that its not titanium so its a bit heavy. But sounds great and the gains are noticable w/out the silencer.

Ok, my bad, Remus makes the exhaust for the 200SX for the SR and the CA. Sebring is the one that makes it for the 240SX for the SR20DET. Would eitehr of these mufflers fit on a KA 240SX? Even though the 200SX is FF and the 240 is FR, does that change the engine dramatically?

which 200SX? Japan or US?

If it's US, then yeah - it's different because on a late model 200SX (which is a 2 door Sentra) the engine is sitting perpendicular (just like any typical Honda FF), whereas in your car the engine is sitting inline with the chassis...

...if it's just a muffler, then it can be made to fit any car... but if it's cat-back system, then for sure it'll only fit the car it was designed to fit on.

Plus man, Remus/Sebring is usually Euro equip

Japan 200SX. They don't cater to USDM Japanese cars, just JDM. ANd it's a full catback exhaust. And I know Remus/Sebring is for Euro cars, but I've seen some Remus/Cebring exhausts on Japanese cars and they look sweet. Would'nt hurt to try, especially from top name guys like these.

well try it if you like it... usually Euro-type mufflers are either twin square tipped, angled up DTm style, or flat ovals, right?

Style is style - yours, not anyone elses

Some are round. The ones for the 200SX/240SX are dual tip and round. Either way, I'm not going for the style, rather for the performance.
