Don't expect it to be super super quiet. It is more quiet than alot of exhauasts, but some people fail to realize it is still 3in piping and if its going on an N/A it will still be pretty loud.

I do I have a megan racing it worked well sounds good and isn't too loud if the silencer is in. Sounds awsome though, I would imagine it would be a little quieter than the 3" and plus I have a headers back system so its probably more quiet than what I've experienced. I think its good.

Cool....I went ahead and got it anyways along with a HotShot Header. I'll probably be installing this weekend. I didn't get a cat because I'm an idiot, I though catback meant the cat and everything after. Oh well. Until I get a cat what do you guys think I should do? Should I wait, bolt on exhaust anyways with exist. cat, beat the baffles out, or fabricate a pipe and not run a cat. I live in Fl and there are no emision laws, so that would be ok.

Yeah........but, until then, what should I do? I just got everything off, except the damn header. Not to mention, it took about an hour and a half to get the header shield off.

My wrenches only go up to 19mm and I think it's a 22 or 23mm that I need to get two more nuts off...huh huh. I said "nuts off"! Damn it's late and I'm delirious. I would of had everything out if it wasn't for those two.

Anyways I was looking at my cat and it's full of sh*t and I have to put it back on no matter what. I'm thinking about beating the baffles and all the carbon out and bolting back on. What's that you say Mr. Officer, I don't have a catylitic converter? Oh well, I just want you guy's honest opinions. Do you think it will sound like sh*t, if I did that or should I just wash it out best as possible and put it back on? I'm thinking about getting that test pipe though, but until then I've got to do something.

Oh, and I've also taken video - including sound for you guys to hear. I'm doing this before and after, Jenny Craig style. If anyone is interested I could post the after.......Just let me know.

Thanks!

Well, it's finally done. I ran into some problems trying to locate a 24mm wrench. When I got that everything went smooth. It's too late to get a sound clip, but if anyone is interested, let me know!!

I went ahead and beat the baffles out of the cat through the advice of a couple of friends and bolted it back up. I'm not sure, but does anyone know if the exhaust will get louder, deeper, etc. as the muffler is broken in?

Oh, and if anyone is interested my factory header and catback exhaust are for sale. I don't know how much I want for them right now, so if you're interested shoot me an offer. I need to get the stuff out of my yard.

Good luck with the install, it's fun, especially when it goes fine and then when it's done.

I don't have the regular ExMag system but I have the ExMag GT2 on my kouki if that's what you're talking about. It's a pretty nice exhaust, nice deep tone with the silencer, not annoying at all. But if I take the silencer off, it's just loud as hell.

My cuzin has the Apexi N1 exhaust on his kouki but i find it quieter than mine. And my brother has the Apexi N1 Evolution on his kouki (yes, that's 3 kouki's in the family) and his is just a bit louder than mine. I find that one a little annoying on the highway tho. It has this deep tone which rumbles in the car. Not too nice.
