I think your retarded if you hack up the B&M. I think the way it sits in the car is fine, why would you want the shifter all the way down inside the center console?

What do you guys think? I really need to replace my shift ****. The leather is shot and peeling off in my hand as I shift. They sell short throw shifters + shift **** on eBay fairly cheap, around 40 bucks. Well, seeing as I need a **** anyways and can't find one for a reasonable price (lower than 40 bucks), would this be a reasonable purchase? Or are the shifters sh*t and I should just purchase a shift **** for that outrageous price? I'm just having a hard time convincing myself in purchasing a shift **** at that price. Any help, opinions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You can get a Nismo leather for like $30 I think, or if you go to turbo240.com, they have a weighted leather **** for like $20. If you wait like a week I'm probably buying the weighted **** I said about from turbo240.com and I'll sell you my Nismo leather for $20.

Yeah, I'm willing to wait, just not very long. I'm tired of leather peeling off in my hand.

Why are you getting another one? Do you have pics? If so, email them to me. bonebrake80@yahoo.com

Should be a pic or so here, I'll look on my pc real quick and try and find more.

**edit: Here's the only other decent pic I have on my PC. The reason I'm getting a new one is I'm looking for one that is heavier.

I don't know, why should I pay 20 for yours when I can get one for 20?

The one for $20 is not the Nismo ****, it is AMS's shift ****. I'm not saying you should buy mine, you don't wanna buy the Nismo ****, I am not forcing you to. I was just letting you know that I have a used Nismo **** in good condition that I may be selling soon.

No, I was just wondering why you would sell a used **** for the same price that I could get a new one? What's the difference other than the name brands and weight? I still may be interested in your shift ****, I'm just trying to figure out why you would want to get a new one and if this is what you are getting that it may be better and I should possibly get the same one? I obviously haven't done the research into shift *****. I'm just trying to replace mine in the most economical solution, whether it be buying used, new, or an ebay shifter+****.

The reason behind selling a used **** for the same price as another brands new **** is because of the brand. When I purchased the **** a few years ago it was like $45, now you can buy the Nismo leather for about $30 brand new. The **** from AMS that is about $20 before shipping is not a name brand ****. As far as I know they manufacture the ****. The reason I am looking into the AMS **** is because of the weight. I love the Nismo ****, but I want to try the AMS **** out to see if the weight does allow better leverage when shifting.

Would you sell the **** for 20-shipped? What condition is it in? Can you email or post some recent close-up pics so that I can evaluate the condition?

I'd rather keep it then, it's in excellent condition if you see it in person, the car sits more than anything so its not like I super dorifto grip it, but whatever I'll just put it in my other car, good luck in your search.

Could you clean it up a little maybe and resend some photos. The clear plastic on top looks a little yellow and kind of looks like it's shrinking or something. Maybe it's just a bad photo or something. I'm not trying to low-ball you. I was just offering money based on the condition. The photos posted here make it look a little rough. Take a look for yourself.
