the car is simply amazing. it is the best american car today. idk how you can say its not getting better. its specs get better every few years and it is one of the best looking cars i've seen. its subtle beuty. none of that hella aggressive civic body kit ****
o and btw rbboyl, you mentioned near sedan gas mileage. the vette gets better gas mileage that a lot of sedans. 28mpg AND 0-60 in 3.9? damn...

this is how i look at it.....
you can buy a used 240 drop in a SR put another 10 grand into it and then and your still not even why......simple....because a vet cost 40 thousand.....so when you think about it you can have a bad *** 240 that will whoop the **** out of a vet and still not have spent the money you did to get a stock vet.......
but hey thats my opinion......

i hate to go all v8 on you, but what the domestic guys say is true- there is no replacement for displacement
the LS8, untouched, is pushin 405 hp and running 12s. a 240 that runs 12s would be hard to build, and the motor would be stressed. any 1/4 time under that would probly require it to be a track only car. so yeah a 240 that could beat a stock z06 would be cool, a modded z06 would own any 240.
