Silviadriver knows his ****. I know this from reading his other post, both here and at zilvia. Don't even try to rag on a guy that knows more than you'll ever will.

In other words...SilviaDriver just owned all ya'll!

..and maybe me too, after this damn post.

and thanks for the breakdown.

well done man, i had no idea about most of that stuff.
So basically what your saying is, the "type-X" could've had a few options on trims and kits? so reffering to it as a "type-x" kit would be incorrect since there were different options and none were designated to that name?
Thats what i got out of that, let me know if i'm wrong (i'm sure you will lol)

so if we don't read up on our cars, how are we supposed to learn? Ask dumb questions instead of searching for ourselves? There's vast knowledge on the web with a little typing of a word on the search bar.

What silviadriver posted has been posted here before, he just did the dirty work and made it easier on ya'll.

This site alone has a lot of good reads. Just SEARCH.
If you can't find what your looking for here try other sites.

google it.

Type X is a trim. nothing more.

how come nobody ever says "lets get a GSR kit" or a "Si kit"

when 95 integs wanna look like the 98, they never go "lets get a GSR kit!"

no they say "lets get a 98 conversion"

but what IS correct is when peple say "lets get a JDM ITR conversion" because even tho all integras have that single piece headlight after 96+ or watever it is ITR becuz of black housing. and all other tegs had silver.

ALL koukis look the same, besides if they choose the optional kit. if you wanna call Anything a kit then say "kouki front lip" not "type X kit"

if your still confused look at it like this..

why do people call it "Type X taillights?" might as well call it "sil80 taillights" and be wrong as well. ALL kouki 180sx had those taillights, not just the Type X.

if your going to need to refer to a Type X you are saying its a 180sx w/ SR20DET. when you are trying to be specific with certain details you refer to trim to make sure people understand what your saying. but ifyour refering to the car body parts or anything else pretty much it is a kouki 180sx

the reason why people NEED to be CORRECTED is becuz if nobody corrects them, they will continue to spread wrong info and sooner or later will NEED to be corrected again.

might as well tell a kid 1+1=300 and let him go telling all his friends thats equation is correct.
