240 kouki projectors

just put h.i.d.'s in my car this past weekend and i noticed that the beam is not projecting a straight cut. are the jdm projectors diffrent than usdm ones? how could i fix this? i already tryed adjusting it to correct the problem but nothing worked.

thanks

the infamous hid kit huh? you could try to make some custom cutoff shields (you probably dont want to open up your lights to do it tho). best bet is to get some oem hid projectors and retrofit them in... much wider more intense beam this way. you have jdm or usdm lamps? either have very large flares and a decent amount of glare above the cutoff line.
a sectionn of my cutoff at 70 feet.

pm me with any other hid questions

i see them on ebay frequently. try www.mynismo.com or www.courtesyparts.com. you can also just make the homedepot lip:

i would make it a lil skinnier though

thats a good way to block foreground light... it works like a mirror the bottom portion of the headlight is going to reflect stray light into the eyes of oncoming drivers. all i have to say is if your going to go hid lighting do it right the first time with oem parts

What kind of kit did you get? How much did it cost and where did it come from? I've been looking into them for my '98

No, I was asking the yojo guy.
Explain how you only use OEM parts if you don't mind?

I wasn't aware of the Kouki ever coming with HID's. Did you buy the lightbulb's that went w/the S15s? If so I guess the same question I asked yojo could go to you too....
