batten down the RUSTED hatches

hello everyone. i am new here. i got a 91 240sx on ebay for CHEAP. the front end was screwed so i took it to a shop. The dude that owned it before me did a REALLY bad bondo job on the hatch. Apparently the guys X knows the way to his heart...a baseball bat to the hatch ANYWHO...do they sell kits just for the hatch? would i be better off with a kit or have the garage try to smoooof it out? i am thinking that the winter time is the best time for a paint job, especially with the tax return season

get a good used one from the wrecker's. If you find one the same color as your car your set. Even if you have to paint it, it will mostly liky be cheaper and last longer. Just make sure that its never been hit.

It would be easiest to get one from a junkyard, or you could always get a carbon fiber hatch

those things cost a good amount, but I guess it evens out cause most people wont paint it. hmmmmm, kinda puts bodywork in a new perspective (worth it/not worth it)

I'd love to have a c/f hatch, I just dunno about trusting anybody after someone bent the **** out of my old hatch trying to break in my car
