Im going to try some spray tint on my front signals, theyre clear and my 240 is black. I think smoked with black car = sex. Im going to use lots of clear too.

They were initially glossy but they have been fading, much like any paint, because they werent protected with a clear coat.

no, dont do it. paint the inside of the lamp, the housing
it looks so much cleaner and not ricey or dull

boil the lamp in water for 5 mins, the glue will get very soft. pry off the lense with a few screwdrivers and your good to go. hopefully you can open the lights up if they are glued together, if not, they are probably plastic welded and will require you cut them open with a dremel, or just ditch the idea all together. i know the boiling method works with stock lamps, hopefully you can do it with custom ones aswell.

Ill try it on my spare set of stockers first... i kept em so that if some jackass steals my clears i can still have my old set of amberz

sweet, you might not be able to tell as much w/ an amber lense but its worth a try. i used heat resistant flat black

hey, smoked ambers looks pretty sexi, too. i kept my ambers just in case too so i can mess with the clears. i think the spray on with a clear coat is best cuz u can make it as dark as u want. (1-2 coats light or 7+ coats black)

that is cheezy, as i said paint the inside... the result is alot cleaner.

works well with stockers, but the amber will still be on the outside. Most aftermarkets you cat take apart...i already tried mine... i gotta get a new set...

other than boiling you can bake it in the oven.

200 for ~12 mins
300 for 8 mins

use gloves btw.
