Bought a 95 240sx (PICS)
Hello, I finally bought my 240 yesterday afternoon. Got it washed, clay bar, buff and what not. Going to be taking it to get tuned on Friday so i can pass emissions. Order a new magnaflow 3 inch cat, two days ago. So hopefully i can get it by friday. Also, going to get it alignment sometime this week. I hope for today, but looks like more or less on Thursday. Talked to a local performance shop, they recommended me to go with smaller injectors and smaller turbo for more of a friendly street car. Got to get it tinted and what not and a couple of things here and there fixed. Car ran good after I bought it, found out about the speed govenor while drving to the detail shop. But i got a couple of issues now. After i got it last nite from getting it detailed, the car was idling kinda high, between 1.5k and 2k, and also, when i would hit 5-6 k the car would start to sputter and not let me rev higher than that. Sometimes it would, like fisrt gear i could go to 6k, 2nd gear to 5k and so on. I am assuming they (detail shop) messed something up while they were cleaning the engine bay. Also, I hear like a whistling sound, the higher the rpm, the higher the whistle (not the turbo either). It sounded like it was coming from the passenger side. Also, i hear a ticking sound, so hopefully the engine isnt damage, just weird that it was kool before then. These are the mods that the car has:
