well i just washed my car for the first time in a long as time so heres a couple crappy cell phone pics..i think ima go out today though and take some so ill try and update with some better quality ones..but heres for now..oh yea i had to replace the headgaket last week so heres a few pics from that too:ylsuper:

and so im wanting to paint my wheels..maybe something that stands out, any suggestions? im thinking either white, lime green, yellow, or hot pink..

looks good, id say leave em silver tho. mabey re polish? and spacers!

tri force zelda's? wheels are hot. what are the specs on them if you don't mind me asking? if you do paint them don't do lime green or hot pink. keep them clean and classy looking like how they are right now.

Your car looks so small compared to that Acura lol. Like a match box toy lol. As for the lambo, he got lucky you didnt race him. If your running an after market turbo you could of gave him a run for his money. Maybe lol.

its cool but gallardos run mid 12's...as does my car so it would have been interesting...i ran a mustang one evening that ran a 12.3 from a small roll and beat him by about a car with a passenger with me so im sure it would have been fun:ylsuper:

why do you think they need all that 500-600 hp to get to 200+mph

sr have long gears but not long enough for 200mph but if they did 300hp would be enough cause they dont weigh nearly as much as a lambo.

anyway man nice car i like it. btw i got my engine out of my car and my headgasket is ok but i was considereing changing it now that its out is it too hard to do it with the engine in the car?i know the banjo clamp on the turbo is a ***** when its in the car. ive only taked off heads from non turbo hondas and they are really easy but then again its fwd and its not close to the firewall.

when you're going over 100mph, power to weight ratio has little to do with how fast the car can go. Speaking of lambos, I saw a diablo pull out of my street today as i was coming back from my walk. Really random since i just live in a small development

Ummmm.....last time I checked, Newton's laws still apply when your speed is greater than 100 mph, otherwsie I am not sure airplanes would fly.

F = ma....all things being the same (aka drag, etc), if you can get traction, a car with a larger power to weight ratio will always pull harder

yea but heavier cars are more stable at higher speeds the way to combat this on a lighter car is simply downforce. look at F1 cars they weigh 1,300 lbs with driver and have 800hp (im pulling number out my ass so dont quote me) but they make enough downforce at 150mph to drive up side down

Couple months ago I was in traffic on the freeway with 4 diablos, all different trims. And one little gallardo in the rear, the gallardo's wheels were like half the width of those monster diablos :laugh:

haha thanks for the pics and girlfriend comments..but yea sr def has the power to put ya to 200...maybe someone should try some custom gear setup or something, wouldnt be to hard to set a speed record for the 240 if someone did it..but ya diablo's are one of my favorite cars..especially the VTT! as for driving the car here at school, i dont have much choice lol its my only vehicle..and although it doesnt seem to be the case, im nothing close to a show whore, i drive my car hard and dont trip when it gets damaged..its all part of the fun..hell i wouldnt even have aero if i wouldnt have gotten that insurance money lol. as for what i would get if i got diff wheels i dont really know, something cheap with a good offset, the mustang wheels arent lookin to bad, but at this point im one of the few who still rock zeldas and i like being different so i duno..

correct me if i'm wrong, but you try to avoid both lift and drag with a car. With an airplane, you are only battling drag. 10hp solar cars can go 100+mph, with the propper gearing and streamlined shape.
