soo yea..i leave my girlfriends tonight, its like 1230 at night...not really anyone on the road so im just trying to hurry up n get home. so i wasnt even speeding and the next thing i know i have the wonderful blue lights flashing behind me! yay im stoked!

yea not really, so he pulls me over and is like..

cop: "you went around that turn pretty fast"
me: "yea a lil bit i suppose"
cop: "just because ur car is 2 inches off the ground and handles like it is on rails doesnt mean you have to show everybody"
me (in my head) : "theres no one out to show, otherwise i wouldve been going slower around it"

so i left my wallet with my license in my room since i was just making a quick run..

he let me off with 2 non moving violations although i dont think he couldve held up in court with wreckless driving since my tires did not squeel nor was i excessively accelerating..but whatever

no license ticket and no exhaust ticket

then i told him the reason i dont have an exhaust is because our lovely Louisiana roads snatched it right off my car..he agreed they are bad but proceeded to ticket me..

gawd this **** is lame..

Sucks to hear that, cops hate pulling me over because they know I'm right everytime they try to stick me with something.

Yes, I've been to county traffic court MANY times. After my second trip, I learned to ask question about interpreting the law and all the other good stuff. After a few lessons, cops just flat out hated me because they couldnt write me up for what I have... unless I'm speeding and they caught me red handed. LOL

But yeah man, good thing is that the tickets are non-moving violations.

back when i had my srt4 i would constantly get non-moving violations. that **** gets expensive. but pleading guilty will only cost more money. you will then have to appear in court they will tell you your fines then you'll have to pay court fines. If somehow you had proof of the roads tearing off multiple exhausts then you could plead not guilty and maybe get that citation thrown out. the front license plate is a garuntee fine though.

Yeah, pleading guilty and showing remorse will get your fines lowered. Just admit to it and act like you realized you made horrible mistake. Or at least, I always hear about it working.

I can confirm that seeing as my *** has gone to court more times than likely all of you guys combined LOL

For us here in CA, when they call your name, just plead not guilty and talk to the DA. Once the DA calls you, be straight forward, tell them you understand that the violations have some merit, but you cannot afford the full fine. Here in CA, that would reduce your fine by 50%, sometimes even more. Only problem there is that if it is a moving violation, they wont allow you to take traffic school to "mask" the point on your record.
