Hisashiburi Club240 haha
Well I guess I could continue this thread, but with a new car.. I still have the red 240, its in the garage back in the states as many of you all know, but now that its been like a year I've been living in Japan I have started a new project. And here are some pics from the last few weeks. Those of you who follow my blog already know, but for those who don't here is an update: When I bought it: Attachment 8635 And progress: Attachment 8636 Attachment 8637 Attachment 8638 Attachment 8639 Attachment 8640 http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...g/IMG_0131.jpg Attachment 8641 Attachment 8642 Attachment 8643 Tach is now gone because it was really unnecessary. Also the interior is back in because I have shaken coming up soon (Japanese Brutal Inspection) and as much as I like sliding in Japan.. I also like sliding in Japan with Japanese girls in the car with me..so maybe the seats stay lol Ok that is all for now |

It's good to have you back on the forums! I totally understand what you mean about it being torture when you don't have a car! It really does suck to see everyone else doing something (even as minute as some basic tuning or changing out tires) with their car and you're just sitting there, on the sidelines waiting for your ship to come in . . .*sigh*
But it looks like you're getting back into it and that's good. You know what they say, you can't always wait for your ship to come in, sometimes you have to swim to it. And yeah, Donnie is right, they've been slamming the drift community lately out there. . .to be honest, it seems like it comes and goes in spurts, so just wait about 8 months to a year and it'll be back to normal. In 2003 we had something like that happen, accidents popped up a little TOO frequent and cops started going into double-time with their patrols and started scanning even the most desolate of roads. But after a while it all faded off and things were back to being "fun" again. Keep in mind, this was Okinawa, I have NO idea how things happen up north. |
