well....

I just got a set of b-pillars from a local junkyard this morning, i'll be giving it to the manufacturer overseas and they'll re-produce them in CF and also in kevlar blue and red.

there is a thread that explains how to wrap your own carbon fiber, the guy did a GREAT job on it, and it was very easy.

This is from the importatlanta.com board

http://forums.importatlanta.com/showthread.php?t=7004
im not sure if you have to be a member to get to it, but this is a really good thread, and you will probably use it alot if you want to do alot of carbon fiber.

damn it looks so easy. or is it me? then again i never got around to mess with fiberglass either ands that looked easy too. but as soon as i buy well get a hold of this other 240 i will start messsing with things. im guessing to make a mold, i would just have to wrap the actual piece and then follow the tutorial huh?

yup, im going to buy the materials soon and start putting carbon fiber on stuff. (like the B-Pillar)

Only downside is that this wont make parts light, its actually adding weight i think.

thats why you make the mold first... like tape it up first then follow the tutorial. i might be wqrong anyone want to chime in. like use tape, then aluminum foil. does that sound right anyone?
