its really not that bad, if you have a really really big pot you can boil some water and place the lamp in it... alot safer method but is really only good for corner lamps and stuff. the time consuming part is cutting the new lense out of acrylic stuff and gluing it/sealing. i can sell those but pm me for details please

im going to have to stop off at a store and buy a big *** pot unless... my buddy LA_phantom_240 can ship me one over lol j/k i used to open them by baking it but that is VERY risky and the plastic where the lights go can melt. Ill find a pot sumwhere, how much should i boil it to or its juss simple?

well this is what you want to do. Get a big *** pot for crawfish. Make it at least as wide in diameter as your light is long. Take a propane tank, hook it to a regulator, and then to a hose. Make a stand for the pot out of some steel, with 3 legs, all welded to the center, which will be a piece of pipe about an inch long. The propane hose should hook up to this somehow. Crank up the gas, put as much water as you need and boil till the glue is soft. Have fun. Ill try this when i can get my buddy's pot

go to a place where u can get replacement lenses for overhead fluorescent lamps. boil some water in your crawfish pot and place the tails face down in the water, just rest them on top... no need to fully submerge. wait about 5 mins or so (hold with potholder or somethin cuz its hot). pull the light out and start prying the lense up with a butter knife or a flathead screwdriver or something. so what if the orange lense breaks right? anyways underneath the orange lense there is a clear lense and i chose to keep that on there. if you wanted to go led you shud take it out. for the red part of the lense if you want to go led you would need to take out the inner clear diffuser as well for bettter light distribution. i would reccomend using pre made led modules like those on a semi truck or something (try ebaymotors "led truck")

i read online somewhere about how to make your own clear corners but it was dealing with the 300zx tails. Where'd you get your info from on how to make the clear corners sliviaks2nr?
