Clear/smoke side markers

I am thinking about doing either clear or smoked sidemarkers/parking lights on my 240sx. It is black ( http://www.driftpc.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=7 )

Is there a way to do this without having to buy the freakin' overpriced ones? I refuse to pay 120 bucks for 2 plastic lights.

Use Glass-tint, you can get this at your local Home Depot or hardware store. Just take your lights off and give it a nice even LIGHT coat and see how it looks. Then just do even coats (make sure you let it dry for atleast 30 min b4 each coat) until you reach the color you want. its pretty simple and hard to **** up on, if you need more help PM me.
