coup to r34 convo
coup to r34 convo
Ok, I have a hatch, but there's a coupe here for like 150 and I'm so temped to scoop it up, and either make that a full time project and the hatch my daily, or vise versa... I've heard of r32 and 33 convos... has anybody ever heard/seen of a r34?
i havent seen the R34 tails on a coupe...
i personally think the r32 tails are the way to go. they would almost fit much better
and it looks "almost normal"
but hey, i would never knock ya on an issue like that.
after lokin at your post again...are you talking about front or rear conversions?

Nah, talking front end.
Studying up for my s15 I know I can wire them, it's just the mounting of the lights and bumper... think I can do a s13 side skirts and think I actually do a custom bumber for the longer height that a skyline has... width? maybe a widebody kit....
Like i said mounting and the new fenders are the important thing... everthing else I can do myself... just wonder has anyone ever seen a kit?

i'm actually pretty ok, at photoshoping stuff... but couldnt really find colors/postions that would match up, but did one...
but I think you get kinda close, just picture a wide body rear flare and side skirts

whoa...i'm surprised that it would look like that.
i was assuming the headlights would just not wana fit/look right on the thin S13 front.
but i think it would look kinda cool as long as the work was doen right
atleast it's not an acura front

well tru u did much better then me lol, i did the whole hood, fenders and front bumper and lights. Didnt look right kus the fenders didnt match up. Looks pretty nice though! i wonder how much it would cost to do sumthing like that, im sure it will be aroudn the price of the s15 conversion though..
On the price... actually the r34 headlights are cheaper than s15's. and that's the main thing in the price for the s15 convo.
Hood and and fenders might be the main part of the cost... If a skyline aftermarket bumper and hood will fit, that would save too. but that's a a big doubt... Looking for front widths now... and fenders would have to be specially made.
so seriously looking compared to the s15 - 2500, the r34 (highend bumper (bomex) /CF hood/lights) should run 1800, would have to custom make the fenders (which I think I might just cut and mold some stock fenders and see if they fit)... but thats with out any mounts

actually, I think It would flow well, think the thickest part of the s15 is about the same size of the r34s. because of the inset of the radiator support, plus the room you would gain from the pop ups... I seriously think it would work.
Plus think I'm gonna change my plans... forget trying to make a skinny skyline 240 coupe convo... Think I'm gonna just do the convo on the hatch and make a "r34 Sky-80." orginal heh?

just think it would be sick as hell, rps13 in the back and r34 up front. oh, I would kill to see a video of me drifting that... Think I finally found what I want to do with my car...
