Custom Mesh Grill
Custom Mesh Grill
I took a look at my car the other day and was trying to think of something that was different that I could do to make it look better... So I saw the front and thought, HEY, I could put some mesh grill in there replacing the stock vented plastic stuff. So, what I was wondering is if anybody would know how to do this... I could try and figure it out, but If anybody has the slightest clue, then that would help me greatly. Thanks a lot.

do u have a s13? or s14 ?... the s13 doesnt look like it has alot of places for a mesh grill... i might be wrong here.... there is a place under the corners where it looks like a vent .. that is the only place where i can think off...
There are kits on the open market where you cut them to fit the holes in your car. You can get them painted to the color you need. Some of the best grills I have seen are poweder coated and have boarders on them.
The company is Kamei. Here is one of their grills on a Jetta.

yeah there is, there's plenty of room. the middle hole has no grill at all. the mesh would jsut have to be angled a little. i was considering doing this but decided not to cuz next summer the hole will be filled with a big *** front mount

You can a couple ways with the custom name. You can build it using a companies fonts from lets say nissan. Build your name from their car names.
There is also an online service that will make you a custom nameplate for your car to match any car's font.

Well I think my friends uncle can make something like what I want. Basically, its gonna be in simple looking script, nothing fancy. The S will be in red with the rest being in black, and some nice silver trim around the letters. It'll be simple, yet tasteful. It'll make a nice avatar too.....lol.
