Define Overkill. (240sx update, pictures inside, 56k ok)

Check it.

Got setup in the parking lot for my brake swap. Few friends came over to help and hang out (see 240 in background)

Removed the old brakes, cut off the splash guard, and Rustoleum'd the entire wheel well and suspension. The entire undercarriage is about 90% Rustoleum'd. Rust is not, and never will be an issue. Anyway, installed my SS brake lines.

Add 11" Brembo blank rotors, Hawk HPS pads, Motul 5.1 and 4 piston 300zx Twin Turbo calipers (painted black, with anodized blue on top).

Put the wheels back on and checked out the hotness. The swap isn't complete yet, however. I have to get longer studs and another spacer because my wheels are still rubbing. So the car is gonna be parked for a little while longer.

Did this the other day, but stripped the interior from the B-pillar back and the trunk. Not all that much louder, really, but I shed about a lot of weight worth of crap. It's dirty back there, but once I get the last bit of sound deadening out I'll probably have it repainted black.

That's all for now, feedback is appreciated as always.

Thanks man. I had a different 240 up in New Hampshire, and it had rust holes in the chassis and the rear bumper support was completely rusted through. Floorpan had holes in it, basicly anything metal was rusted, including everything in the engine bay. This current car is too clean to let rust. It has zero rust, it will stay that way.

They're just Rotas . Like I really care . They're light, and cost me next to nothing to buy. I'm glad I just happened to find some bronze ones.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was working on running some ducts for the stock brakes, but this piping ended up being too big to be used, so I just ran it to my air filter for now. I'm going to take it out one of these days.

With the current brake setup I probably won't be running ducts as they really won't be that necessary.

Yes, they are Rota Subzeros in bronze with a +35 offset and a 5mm spacer. Still don't clear the Z brakes though, I'm about to buy a 10mm spacer and longer studs to fit it.
