ok i did the rewiring and everything works like a charm. now i have to install the switch somewhere. its a rectangular rocker switch and i would like to put it under by the hoodlatch area. how do i go about making the hole?? i was thinking of drilling the area then filing it down smooth. any other suggestions?

 

Try to fallow the wiring from ur engine harness all the way back to the firewall, There should be some sealent over the hole, jus cut through it and run the wires through the hole and reseal.

 

eh? i think you got the wrong thing. i just rewired the wire from the headlight up button. so i have a switch in between the wires and need to put the switch somewhere. i was wondering what the best thing to do to make the hole for the rectangular switch. it'll be by the hood latch so i have to cut through plastic.

 

oh mah bad, i can suggest using a dremel to cut that plastic. Other wise get some two way tape and slap that baby on

 

i dont have a crusie car, so i removed my CC cover, and wired my sleepy eye into another headlight button.
i used the light green and red wire on the second headlight button.
so i hit the top button, then the bottom, and i can get em perfect. and it loEM...no ugly toggle swithches

 

yeah i dont' want any ugly toggle switch showing. i just switch the rocker switch for a push button one because that one is round so i can just drill a hole and won't have to file much. i m still thinking about putting it by the hood latch or the hole over up on the right side of the steering whell the one next to the button with the windsheild thing on it.
