Just thought those of you who are looking into doing a paint job on your 240 might like some insight on what all needs to be done

Put her in the body shop about 3-4 weeks ago

this is as of today 10/21/06

shaved spoiler holes, 3rd brake light, and antenna hole



all panels are going to be painted separately and all are blocked and wetsanded






rear quarters I previously cut for clearance for my massive 18x10.5 -26mm offset :eek4:




doors are pulled to paint separately; rear quarter windows, and front window moulding are pulled as well

very nice, for the moment i feel bad though, its like your destroying such a beautiful car...but i know its gona look 100x better once its done...nice choice on the wheels size (flushy flush!) Whats the paint name/ code? im trying to sort through tons of paints right nor because im in the process of doing mine and cant decide what the hell i want!

 

Seen you post up pics once in awhile on Zilvia...pure sex man. Glad you kept the wheels and made them fit.

A pillar, you can kinda see the pearl in it, the lighting sucked in there and my flash didn't do much for me

thats all i got for now, he should start reassembling everything tomorrow once everything is cured. When its done put together, a final buff should clear out any trash-which was very little in the paint
