why would i want carbon fiber or fiber glass doors yea there light but **** man they dont dent or flex and if i had a wreck of some one backs in to me i am screwed ill have to get new door in stead of jsu tpulling hte dent

 

Without a full blown nascar style roll cage, carbon or FRP doors are probably one of the most dangerous things you could do to a car.

 

Thats what i was gonna do with my 240. My idea of style is style by simplicity. I like my car smooth as glass. I hate when ppl put a million vinyls on the car and it looks too "busy" and your mind doesnt really know where to focus. I think the car itself should be the focus--- it should have flow to it. It should be one style, not like bright green metallic paint with blue headlights chrome sidemarkers and chrome taillights, carbon-fiber tipped fart can and a 3 foot aluminum wing with a bodykit that looks like it was designed in the 80's for a concept car... you know which ones im talkin about.

my vision for my 240: jet black, glass smooth with smoked turn signals and side markers. No door handles, no bodyline. Im gonna try to get into fiberglass and try to make a rear bumper that sits more flush with the car instead of stickin out a foot. My tail lights wil be the same ones im running now, but with the reverse lights smoked. Its lowered already, and im thinkin about some simple 7 spoke design gunmetal rims.

Of course, you may feel totally different about style and its your car and choice not mine. Im just sharing what I think about style. Not that its right or wrong, its just my choice. Maybe itll give someone some ideas. Just make sure that whatever you do to your 240, YOU like it. Dont shave the door handles and 2 months later hate it for some reason, ya know what i mean?
