Driving style

So how do you drive? Two hands on the wheel? Left hand on the wheel and body leaned towards the middle? Seat leaned all the way back? Head hanging out the window? right arm draped around the passenger seat?

Heh heh, just a silly question. Sometimes I drive in some weird postions. I guess one small advantage of an auto is that you have an extra hand free, so I find different ways to place it. Sometimes I'd use my left on the wheel and lean towards the middle and rest my right hand on the ebrake or shifter. Other times I'd just put one arm out the window, or around the passenger seat, or reach out the sunroof and hold on the the top of the car. I even tried driving a couple times with my head sticking out the drivers side window.

well i like to drive right hand on the wheel.... but i dont have it overhand... i go with the underhand style(hand on the top portion of the wheel but underhanded)... i almost never use 2 hands ... my left hand usually is in a "I" position when the window is opened.. with the fingers on the roof of the car...

I got to do the lay down style saturday. Some dude cut me off and was grilling me. He was driving with his seat all the way back. I was with a friend in another car so I dropped my seat back and screamed.

"Hey look at me, now I am a hard rock too!"

The guy got pissed at me. Why? I thought it was a compliment....

Hey I'm no "thug wannabe" or "hard rock" but I lean my seat pretty far back for driving stick and one hand on the bottom of the steering wheel, unless I'm racing and I don't use any and just concentrate of shifting-LOL Just playing. But nah pretty laid back and two hand on wheel when i'm driving as fast as the car can go.

You know I totally didn't answer the question.

I drive with the seat all the way back and angle pretty straight up. I don't have the longest legs here but I could use another inch or two.

I love driving with the sunroof open because it reminds me to keep my head towards the inside of the car. I constantly bump it on the roof lining. I think that also has to do with the suspension.

I keep both hands on the wheel for two reasons: One - it feels damn good and my hands just fit into the holders. Two - the suspension is still off so I have to keep her straight.

Left hand on top center of the wheel, and right hand always on shifter.

There were times I wished I had an auto when I was driving stick with my broken hand. Talk about what to do with a hand that is worthless.....

Ever start an auto and almost break your foot stomping it down looking for a clutch?
