fastback taillights

Hey guys, Im about to get another 240 and one of the decideing factors in what body Im going to get concerns the fastbacks tail light conversion. Does everything bolt in or do I have to do much trimming? Just give me a rundown of whats involved and Id be very happy. Thanks

this is the part of the question i don't get. by 'which body', r u referring to different generations of hatchback (89-90 or 91-93), or hatchback vs coupe??

i dunno. that's the way it came across to me. like that guy in the other thread that was askin about hatchback tails on the convertible. perhaps it was misworded, but the only "body" types that i know of r coupe/notchback and fastback/hatchback...

yes they do, but when you buy the lights, MAKE sure to order the whole kit, not just the 2 lights themselves. Ebay sells the lights for like $350, but you're screwed because you need the center piece and the long black piece that goes underneath it all to fit.

from what i'm told, yes there is. I'm looking into gettting a used set next week, i'm trying to talk the guy down to $300 traded for a stock set, heh.

The wiring as well will need to be spliced, but thats not hard.

I've seen the splicing guide, it's not that hard at all for anyone that can do basic electrical. If you can't do that, you don't deserve the kouki's and must give them to me.
