KA tranny is the same strength i dunno though on my local drifter forums i see SR trannies for sale alot for around $200. try any local VA forums post wtb? or move to miami like you should have and id help you change out the tranny lol

damn so many down here too

try calling up local engine import shops they might have a tranny for sale.

also dont take bs from them if they try to sell it to you for more then what its worth even shops down here only sell them for around $200-300

i bid you gl with that from my experience rebuilds generally dont turn out well but thats mostly for autos hopefully all will be well with yours

hm, I always hear that rebuilt transmissions are better. But whatever, I'm saving $200
I called Japaneseengineimport.com (where I got my motor) and they said they have a transmission for $600... Another place in Canada said they could get me one for $350, but then I'd have to get it installed for another bit of money. The guy doing mine is un-installing, rebuilding, re-installing all for $150

Yeah this is the car, and thanks, I'm not going to build another car anytime soon. Next time I build will be when I have my own place and a steady flow of cash coming.
