i stripped my car and started painting it with gloss black but it comes out horrible because i can't get the gloss even. i think i might just paint the damn thing flat black, or semi-gloss black. anybody have any pictures?

Sizzzooo's old hatch was flat black and nice as hell, you could look for his old posts, not sure if the number of z's and o's are correct in his name though sorry. If I run across some pics I'll post them up for you.

sounds like you shouldn't be painting lol. What kinda of paints are you using, sounds like housepaint lol. Did you use your flex agents, reducers, and other mixes? Is it an enamal paint, pearl, or are you using clearcoat? Paint it tought work, and if you dont know how to do it, your gonna screw it up.

No. Itll look funky. Use satin black. It gives a less harsh "sunbaked" look than flat, but not reflective... well heres my sexy satin black 240, phone pics, but sex nonetheless.

read about that roller brush method on honda-tech, i think someone also posted something like that here on this forum somewhere, but yea, that's a pretty cool method,,,

as for me, sigh, i need a new front bumper and fenders, and alot of free time and a place to paint,, going "super glossy jet black" 1 stage

Satin/Flat Black paint when done correctly on a 240 looks really good.

But thats a whole different story when it comes to Hondas....
