Ghetto Rig List
Things that are ghetto...
-holes in trunk from old spoiler covered w/electrical tape
-shift bood held w/zip ties
-amp not bolted down.. only held by + and ground wires
-amp ground hooked up to rear strut bolt
-subs being held in place w/jack and air compressor
-speaker cover thing in back insulated w/sticky foam tape
-automatic shift **** in my 5 speed
-speaker wire all over the engine bay connected w/more electrical
tape
-no front speakers.. speakers in door but are connected to rear
speakers.. even the oem tweeters..
-speaker wire not long enough.. so connected w/different speaker
wire and more electrical tape..
-cant forget about the dual windshield wipers!!
-antenna sticks out 2" when radio is off or when cd plays
how ghetto is your ride??

aftermarket filter on stock intake hose
bomex-like front bumper (primer black cause it came in baby blue)
veilside-like sides (same as above)
shift **** was stolen now its just the shifter
only speaker that work are the ones in the doors.
driver side occasionally cuts out
im too poor for anything else yet

speaking of ghetto cars. i had three cars, each of em all had a ghetto thing to it. my old *** "stall every 5 minutes" toyota corolla, drifting up a big *** hill like a dumbass and shattered my headlights on the guardrail. luckily i didnt fly off. anyways, i was cruising and high beemed the wall as i was parking and out from my headlights was a wutang sign on the wall.
my silvia s13, holes everywhere, paint coming off, yellow paint from under the grey metallic silver paint showing. so much scrapes on my bumpers front and back.
and my supra, it had ghetto *** suspension, and i mean hydraulics, those high hopping ****. hit a bump and it hops like a rabbit. put it on low gear and tap the gas, and it hops big time. a rabbit powered by tt. also on the supra, my fog horn was so messed up in the wirings, in order to honk at ppl, i had to take the horn's wires and take a quarter nickel dime whatever and connect it.

Definitely Ghetto, not my car, I only saw it on the highway...then got waaay the **** away from it:
80ish Ford Escort (not even a GT) ~1' tall particle board wing covered with what looks like shelf paper. ~1' square side panels on the wing, one missing. Wing is angled up with respect to the car which actually generates lift.
Was Ghetto: Only the rear speakers work cause the fronts had thier frames bent when the previous owner installed em.
Now Ghetto (sort of): shift **** carved from a branch of an apple tree. Hey its ergonomic. Yeah and the shift boot is held on w/ a zip tie.

You should rename this post to the blue collarness of our cars, lol.
Only thing ghetto rigged in my 240 is the Headlight swtich isn't working so only 1 light worked on hi-beams, so I split the wiring from one headlight to go to the other rather than replacing the switch.

ok. here we go
drilled wheels to fit
backyard alignment
zip tied electric fan that i still have to manually plug into the battery. then pop the hood when i get out to disconnect it
my dash lights are a mini flashlight.
i have to fold my seats down at night incase it rains. that way my seats dont get soaked.
rear defroaster is taped on the glass.
my ghetto dual headlight switch is still not fastned sown.
my front end is 3 diffrent colors
my rear shocks are blown
my passenger side axel nut is stripped. so i zipped it on with the impact gun. then put a huge nail in the cotter pin hole
damn....there is more. i cant think of em.

Front lip from an 89 is zip-tied on...
holes from spoiler that are now being bondoed...
Speakers in Rear are hooked and spliced with front...
CD Player is hot...
Speedo is broken between the hours of 10 PM and 11 AM....literally...
Odometer is broke...stuck at 125,403
stock Intake tubing with airfilter cip-tied to top half of air box...(don't really care about the KA untiul it's an SR20DET
