Question Gold Rims on a Red s13??????

this summer I am planing on painting and puting rims my 1990 240sx. I havn't picked out a color yet, but I want it to be a red, somthing that would turn heads.... But my bigest problem is that i have decided on the rims i want just not the color. I am wondering if you can tell me what color would go better wiht red and what kind of red would be cool. ill post some pics of the rims if i can. the rims are enkei EVO5, the color options are gold or hyper silver plz leave your comments

Gold rims would be fine but you should be more worried about the sizes and offsets/

i would paint the car a bright fire red like the c5 corvettes, but if your taking in colors id say a hot pink like yashio with some hott sparkles or like a color shifting paint like that oil looking paint... just my 2 cents! then for the rims are you looking into getting them powdercoated? if not just get the gold ones, but for powdercoating id say a shinning gangsta style gold!! like my grill cuhh...

Let me say it again then, you should be worried about rim size and offsets, 17x7 +42 = coldsauce

It's a FWD size wheel and will be super sunk in, which in turn, looks like crap. If you want something decent check out the wheel section of the forums, there are several threads and I believe a sticky or two that can help you figure out some good sizes to run.

so that should give you a good understanding of what offsets/widths you should be looking at.
