was just checking out importfan.com, saw their GTP bodykits, and was just wondering, what's the general consensus on the GTP kits? what do you guys think about their quality and look? it seems real cheap, about 800 or so for a full kit, this because of low quality or? any input is appreciated.

 

EXTREMLY EXTREMLY LOW QUALITY!!!!!! I will never get GTP parts ever again the fiberglass peices are crap, dont fit, cheaply made, badly shipped, come with scratches and cracks, and are LOW quality. Also ask sizzzoo he has too had bad experiences with GTP products.

 

the ONLY thing i would EVER buy from GTP, is their C-Wings Brand CF hoods.

Mine is actually really nice. This would make my 2nd CF hood from them, and the quality has been great. They are definately better than any ViS hood, and the underside is OEM quality as well.

I also got my Bomex kit through them as well, so i dont have any issues with that.

Anything else they sell, is total crap!

 

Oh yea i forgot i have the c wings CF hood and it is beutiful!! The finish is very nice and its not cluody like VIS or other knock off brands. But as far as the GTP made products i would stay away from them.

Coversion is going great. I installed it myself and then took it to a friends bodyshop were they are gunna fixed everything i f*cked up which is mostly just the fenders. they are making me new ones!!! I'll get the pix of the fenders they are constructing by tomorrow!

Another. Had to add to bolt the f*ckin things down. Thank go i took it to the body shop i couldnt stand it!!

 

i got a kit from extreme dimensions.com. They shipped me a kit from GTP and it sucks. the front bumper is all right, i guess, although it was cracked when i got it. the side skirts sucked. the driver side is tight, and the top of it dont fit . the passenger side is even worse. i had to trim it up by the front wheelwell, just so it would squeexe on there. it looks like crap.

Im seriously thinking about getting a whole new kitfrom somewhere else.

 

yea my driver fender wasnt that bad but the passenger one was way retarded.
