Gunmetal 91 S13

Here's my 91 SE with:

Eibach Sportlines($189)
KYB GR2's(~$240 shipped with new strut boots)
17x7 Excel TZ-5's w/215/40/17 Hankook Ventus ($660 shipped)
Paint/body work: $1000
Vehicle w/KA24DE w/111K miles: $1200

Some info/advice:

After the Sportlines and KYB's, I used the "Eibach Recommended" camber bolts for the front and took it to the alignment shop. A competent technician aligned the vehicle and gave me a printout of the alignment. According to his alignment rack, the rear was in factory tolerances, and the bolts($25) took care of front adjustment. This saved me money that I would've spent on PDM rear camber correction bushings($85). My only regret is that I should've gone with wider tires. The Sportlines lowered the vehicle enough and it looks good from the front, however, I still have some undesired wheel gap. I haven't noticed too harsh of a ride like some others have(very comparable to my former 96' Civic w/Neuspeed Sport Springs on stock struts/shocks w/205/40/17).

Mods in next 2 months:
Apex Dual N1

Mods in next yr:
Infiniti Q45 dual piston caliper upgrade w/larger rotors
Undecided between KA24DET or SR20DET
Carbon Fiber hood

Lookin Good!

Only thing i'd say is those gr2's are meant for stock replacement, they won't handle and will die faster if they are lowered.

those rims look sharp, I might have to invest in some.

First off, thanks for the compliments. I just got the car in August and this is as far as I've gotten.....more in the future.

To the Dr., the decision on the GR2's were strictly financial. I compared these options: sportlines/GR2 = $420, sportlines/AGX = $650, Apex N1 World Sports Damper Kit = $1000, Teins = Too Damn Much. I think I read that GR2s are 20% stronger then stock. Is this true?

Given that I have the GR2s how long will they last? I use the 240 for spirited daily driving.

The AGX's were $430 shipped for me, I was told the GR2's would only last a couple years because they weren't made for lowered cars so they wouldn't be working in their optimal range.
but yeah, money is definately a problem for most of us, I can understand that!

and spiritied daily driving is a good way to put it, lol. I did that today and got pulled over for exhibition of acceleration, failure to use turn signals, speeding, weaving & illegal exhaust. So just keep that in mind.

give the sportlines a few months they will settle.

the GR-2's will last a while.
stock shocks die almost as soon s the car is let off the lift
