HOW do you BUFF paint???
HOW do you BUFF paint???
i got some fades on my hood, i was wondering, some people tell me that i can buff out the paint and it would look new again, but i have no idea how you can do that, what would you need? and how do you do it???? someone please help!!
If your paint is looking dull, I would suggest polishing it. Polishing is best(most say only..) done with a buffer(random orbital type, Porter Cable being the best choice), so if you dont have one, you will not get the results you are looking for.
That combined with a nice wax on top will bring back the shine.

Wet sanding is a horrible idea unless you are a pro... or you dont care to screw up a few times(and by that i mean remove paint). wet sanding is NOT for beginners, period.
If a good polish(try a mild polish first), doesnt remove hazing/fading, your paint must be in very bad condition.
